Thank you for joining the Celebrate CB parade tradition. This years theme is “CB Won't You Blow Your Horn!” Show the community why your organization is blowing your horn!

PARADE RULES

1. A parade entry shall be:

  • A Float, a vehicle with a platform on which is mounted a display or exhibit that carries out the them of the parade. Maximum height is 18 feet. Maximum length – statdard tractor trailer OR two car sized vehicles
  • A performing club, band, dirll team or marching group (performance subject to prior approval
  • An equestrian group
  • Antique or classic vehicles
  • 2. Walking groups are prohibited unless they accompany an accepted float, wear a uniform or school colors, march in formation with their float or perform.

    3. Parade officials reserve the right to disqualify any non-conforming entry from participation in the parade. This may be done any time prior to the parade, the morning of the parade, or along the parade route.

    4. Throwing cany, coins, or other giveaway items from floats or parade vehicles is prohibited. Distribution of flyers or other printed information during the parade is prohibitied.

    5. Helmets required for all skateboards, scooters, roller skates, rollerblades, bicycles, and other wheeled conveyances.

    6. Entries and payment must be returned by May 1 2012. Entries will be limited to the first 100 received.

    Judging

    Only entries, which qualify as floats, will be eligible to compete. The competing entries will be classified as
    follows:

    1) Schools 2) Commercial Groups 3) Equestrian Groups
    4) Color guards 5) Non-Profit Groups

    Applicants will be advised of approval or disapproval of the entry prior to May 8, 2012. Parade route maps and entry numbers will be sent to applicants at that time. Preference is given to entries with floats and equestrian.
